Title
Train Crossing Soo Line 1003
Artist
Tom Shropshire
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Stretched Canvas
Description
The Soo Line 1003 steam powered train is still operating in Wisconsin, traveling around the state to bring this example of railroad history to the people. It is stored for viewing at the Wisconsin Automotive Museum in Hartford. One year, in conjunction with the Circus Parade, this engine stopped in the village of Eagle right in front of my home. A great photo opportunity! I plan to paint many more train scenes.

You are the maestro! Wonderful painting. Just like living my childhood thrill of running my Lionel train or run in as fast as I could to get an eye full of the smoking roaring train come to my hometown station from Milwaukee. Thanks for your beautiful artwork and congrats on your sale.
