Opening Day
A spectacular sunrise in the north woods greets a hunter dressed in blaze orange. It's opening day of deer season in Wisconsin. I was never much of a hunter, but I did appreciate the beauty of nature and the camaraderie of the annual hunt. In hindsight, I wish I would have gone with my brothers and my Dad even when I quit hunting, just to be part of the tradition. I could have carried a camera or a sketch book.
