If you have ever landed in an airplane on a rainy night you can identify with this subject. The captain announces that he has started his landing approach as you descend through the storm clouds and see your destination through the rain streaked window. The “Fasten Seatbelt” sign remains lit as you prepare to touch down on the wet runway, but your flight is almost over.
