Classic Snow Scene
This imaginary snow scene was inspired by countless Christmas cards, Ideals Magazines and Currier and Ives prints. I can’t help painting nostalgic sentimental paintings around the holidays. As a youngster I loved the holiday images from Ideals Magazine and also the popular and sentimental Currier & Ives American lithographs. This is a tribute to that genre.
