City Fragments
All of my life I have created, doodled, and painted these linear quasi-abstract geometric forms. It is said that doodling is a form of meditation for visual artists, perhaps even a type of therapy. Usually I turned them into futuristic cities or castles. Studies have shown that doodling improves your mental state, reduces stress and helps regulate your emotions ...so doodle away!
This painting, while completely abstract, suggested a city scene to me and I enhanced that impression with a few glowing lights.
