There is nothing like the excitement and pulse of Bourbon Street. The garish lights, the sounds of music pouring out of seedy bars and night clubs, drunken laughter, and even the clip clop of mounted police. It's a decadent paradise and a non-stop party. Beneath the glitter is a dark side that seeps out into the musty humid air from the old buildings, gaudily painted ...like the makeup on aging strippers.
